My husband and I built our home in 2022. We give our experience with Brabec Custom Homes/Luxury Home Builders mixed reviews. On the plus side, the Brabec brothers have relationships with good to great contractors which is an important consideration when choosing a building administrator. The vendors that they suggest generally have good reputations in our Clark County and Portland communities, important in well-informed guidance for house finishes. We found it equally important to pay strict and continuous attention to the terms of our contract, the accounting related to our contract, and whether we were receiving what we were paying for. From the design expertise to the finish details, Rob, Scott and their crew's informed suggestions and attention to detail were really appreciated. Communication throughout the build was excellent, and Scott always returned calls and emails or met with us promptly to discuss whatever questions we had. We haven't built our new home yet, but we had an initial discussion with the folks at Brabec (sorry, forgot the name of the guy we talked to), and they were fantastic. Very straight-forward about cost estimates, they knew exactly what they were talking about, had great advice about size, lots, city/county restrictions, permits, and build time. We don't know yet if we'll go that building route, and if so, I'll update this review, but we got a realistic insight into likely costs and the idea of building seems much more viable now.

Having owned several custom homes I would say that of all the custom builders I’ve known, Rob and Scott of Brabec Custom Homes are simply the best. Their design to build covering all the essentials needed in a build together with excellent builder to client communications and support make your dream home a reality.
