I had seen negative reviews for this business, and based upon past experience, found the reviews puzzling...so I concluded that perhaps the people who tend to write reviews are the few who are disgruntled. My own experience has been quite different. John has serviced appliances in my home on several occasions & has always done a very good job. His prices are reasonable & his expertise is unsurpassed. The first time he came to my house was for a dishwasher issue that another repairman was unable to diagnose. John correctly assessed the problem & fixed the dishwasher. He has successfully worked with a company on my behalf to get a warranty covered when an appliance failed just past the warranty date. He has always responded promptly to my calls, set appointments within a short period of time

Purchased a new refrigerator in 2020 which started frosting over after 3 months. Called GE Warranty and was assigned out to Bragdon. First service all he did was open back cover and defrost it stating he couldn't be sure of cause. Three months later had to return and defrost a 2nd time and said he would have to order parts as he doesn't have on stock. 4 months later still did not have the right parts when he arrived and then simply left when I asked why. Did not even have the courtesy to defrost if for a 3rd time. "Take it up with GE" was his parting comment.

I had a dishwasher fail after 3 months. Called the manufacture and they set me up with Bragdon. The service man spent 10 seconds in my house - told me what was wrong with it (which is exactly what they told me over the phone) and told me he had to order a part. Well, the part was on factory backorder and he told me it would be 7-10 days or up to a month or two before the part would be in. I wasn't happy so I called the manufacture myself and got the part shipped to my house in 4 days. Called up Bragdon to schedule to have the part installed on a Monday. The earliest they had was a Thursday which was fine. Scheduled the appointment and was told I would receive a phone call Thursday morning with my time slot. Here's what happened... I called to make an appointment to get my dishwasher repaired. They came out the following week. Arrived on time (this was Monday), was very friendly, called Frigidaire to get information on error codes. Told me that I needed a part that would be about $30 and labor to install it by Friday would be $60. The initial visit was $90...all reasonable and agreed upon. Before he left, we chatted for a while and he sat on the floor and played with my dogs. Very nice man, I had time to chat and when he left I thought "what a great guy." After not hearing from him all week, I called to see if the part had arrived. The first time I got the machine so just decided to call back. I called back probably 5 times after and the machine had been shut off. Finally, he answered and g

Called Whirlpool 7/27/15 and they said they would have Bragdon Appliance come out 7/30/15. Called on 7/29/15 and Bragdon says they don't have record of my call. They came out in December of 2014 and were pretty worthless then too. They didn't fix the issue and in fact that is the reason why I need this call this month. They have one technician whom I hear is the owner. He was very rude to us in December. I called Whirlpool and they will send out Sears. Furthermore, they don't return calls or answer calls most days.
