We have been a loyal customer since our house was built over twenty years ago. Even stayed after the service tec who came out for routine maintenance didn't actually clean the system properly and it caused other issues. But they came and fixed the issues caused by the tec. So we continued to use them being impressed that they admitted fault and prioritized our issues. A few years ago we noticed the oil prices were a bit higher than other companies. We acquired why and were told because they offer service not just deliver oil. To me that made no sense because we pay for service so what does that have to do with the price of oil. If I could give them a 0 star review, I would. Look at all of their bad reviews. Everything I've stated, other customers have complained about. That tells you what you need to know about this company. One of the worst companies I've ever done business with in my life. We've cancelled our account and have replaced them in the middle of winter because they were going to let our tanks run out of oil for a third time over this weekend. They refuse to reimburse for cleanings that I've pre-paid on contract with them that were not done. We have two tanks and pre-paid for two cleanings that were not done. They don't stand behind their warranty. Brideau installed a new furnace in my home in December 2024. The proposal for the job specifically said "Brideau Energy warranties all equipment, materials, and labor provided by Brideau Energy for a period of one year from the date of installation, in conjunction with all manufacturers warranties." Well, in late November of 2025, the furnace stopped working. I called up Brideau, and was told that they won't honor the warranty because I don't buy oil from them. They were paid to install a furnace, and the warranty should cover that work, regardless. And, if that wasn't the case, it should have been called out in the contract. Have been a customer for over 17 years now. Had to replace both my furnace and oil tank this fall. Brideau helped get this all done quickly before the cold set in. When there was an issue after the fact with my thermostat, they sent a technician right over and it was addressed that same day! Great service and support!
