Gabriel has been so great during our panel upgrade process! Once we contacted brightpower, Gabriel came out and really explained the process. He also was able to get our car charger installed for a future EV. Thank you also to Mark for assisting in getting permits and the paperwork done to get our projected completed. I honestly don’t understand where the positive reviews for this company come from. I have a background in electrical work, and it’s clear they rely on customers not knowing any better. If I could give zero stars, I would. It started when I called regarding flickering lights under load in three of our rooms. I’m in Sorrento Valley and saw their high rating, so I booked a call. Things went downhill immediately. The first technician, Daniel, showed up four hours late with no notice; I had to call the office myself just to find out if he was still coming. Instead of a proper diagnosis, Daniel’s first move was to try to sell me a $6,000 upgrade to a 200A panel. Keep in mind, this is a one-story house with gas appliances and no EVs—we have never once overloaded our 125A panel. He admitted I

They cut the power to my brand new AC and used the breaker for the EV Charger. They stopped responding to me and refused to address the issue. I had to pay $350 for the HVAC expert to splice the new condenser power cable they just put in. This company does not know what they are doing and will leave your home in a worse condition.
