BrightView Landscapes

*I originally posted for the wrong location. This happened in September 2025. Adding updated pictures to show damage still exists.* Simply put BrightView damaged my bushes. They are refusing to replace or compensate me to the damages. The representative from BrightView calms that there is new growth. There is, only on the top. According to the representative, BrightView only trims 3 to 4 inches from bushes. They trimmed any where from 6 inches to a foot!! Depending on the bush and it's location. One bush is only a nub now. SMH

Bright view provides the landscaping and snow removal for the Montgomery Village HOA. Their response to this small snow storm has been disastrous. I am wondering how they even got the contract since they obviously cannot handle it. .

Part of the HOA of my Damascus neighborhood and we’ve been using bright view for some years. Absolutely love how reliable they come in. Wish they’d come in more often, you can definitely tell the difference after they visit. The best thing about them we all love is they’ll do groundskeeping first, picking up any litter that rolls in from the street or from animals/wind that flips over recycle/trash bins. If they only did this regularly, it would be amazing, but they do more of course and they do it well. Grass, mulch, and each little garden in front of the homes are well taken care of. Keep it up! Crew showed up to remove a stump. They said some slates around the stump need to be removed. I said yes you can remove them. One guy said 'you remove it and we will be back in about 30min-1h'. I asked if that was not part of their job i.e. removing stuff around the stump to do the job. I never got an answer. Next thing they got into their car and drove off saying "we gonna talk to our manager". I found it extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. So I called the company (BrightView) and they said they will get back to me. They never did. Instead, the HOA like that sent them around got in touch with me and when I told them what happened they said the BrightView never mentioned to them that the crew actually even spoke to someone ne on-site. Consistent problems with service performance at my address. Every neighbor had steps and walkway shoveled except me. I am disabled and this situation is dangerous for me.
