Broxton Parking

Beware!! Deceptive parking lot. There’s a sign less than a block away saying this parking lot is 2 hours free. The parking operator wouldn’t honor the error and waive the charge. Said the sign is operated by the City of LA and they have no control over it. Come on.

recently they have changed from their 2 hours free parking policy. i still park here because it’s somewhat reasonable for the area but i do miss the free parking for quick errands.

I have been parking at this location for years. When the had two hours free was a big help. As I go to the hospital often. The lady at the booth is so nice. She recognizes me all the time. She is great.

No more 2 hr free parking before 5pm. The attendant is also kind of rude. I asked why it's not free for 2 hours anymore, and he just said no it's not free. I said I used to be on the sign, and he just points at the sign and says it's not free.

In August '25, The City of L.A. stopped allowing 2 hours of free parking if entering before 5pm. Businesses are suffering the change. I don't go to Westwood anymore. Parking is too much. The same problem Westwood has had for 40 years or more. Another bad decision by employees of the City. Another reason L.A. sucks.
