Bruce Helsel Tree Farm

We had 2 great experiences. A large pine tree fell during a thunderstorm. They responded to our call within a few days even though there were many people with similar problems. A few years later Helzel’’s tree service removed 2 large pine trees and trimmed other trees. We would definitely receive them.

Planted 6 trees a year ago. 3 died by Spring and the other 3 died shortly thereafter. Guaranteed to replace them but now is not even returning phone calls. Does NOT honor his commitments! Do not do business with him.

We first heard about Bruce's company from the Facebook group, Overheard in Traverse City. We recently moved to the area and were looking for some hard-to-find Colorado Blue Spruce Evergreen trees. Bruce connected me to his right-hand man Mike who we worked with through the remainder of our transaction. Mike was like a Pitbull and really went to bat for us to try to find the trees of our dreams. While all other companies were trying to talk us out of what we wanted and would rather we buy what they had on their property, Mike literally looked all over Michigan for our trees. Being wintertime we had time to spare and left him at his job. He finally called us and had 8 new trees for us at the height and type we wanted. We had to work around their Christmas Tree lot obligations but eventually

Bruce and his team are a-1 with a 5 star+. His guys were vert professional and friendly while working on our tree's. They did an awesome job and cleaned up everything afterwards. I highly recommend them for any tree removal job. I will not hesitate to have them come back when i need more tree's removed. Thankyou again
