This was a brand new fence build. Installer overlapped fence boards(I posted a pic of them). That’s something you do to possibly fix an older fence. Both gates sagged almost immediately. Installer blamed it on the fence settling. Also blamed 2x4’s sticking out past the fence panels as weather related expansion. Due to the way the panels were built that are mounted to the gates, there are weak spots at the gate. There is a section of 2x4’s that are only about 12” long that attaches to the latch. This section failed during 50mph winds within a week of the install. It took them close to a month to come on site to repair.
