Bruening Rock Products

I am not sure what's up here. I know construction takes time, but this seams to be set up to get back at me for reviewing there trucks parking on the side walks In this same location in Waukon. This has been setting idle for at least 3 weeks. It is where a new street is supposed to come at but they are not doing anything to it. This is a major problem for me because if I go this route which is 2nd st sw I have to take my power chair up and down curbs it is not designed for, or I can take 9th street sw which is a busy highway and some people seem to delight in moving over as close to the shoulder as they can get. If I take Rossville rd I have to get out on that busy highway because they have that area torn up also.

They have been parking trucks on the sidewalk in Waukon instead of the street. This forces my to take my mobility chair up and down curbs, it was not designed for this. So I either have to do the curb or take a busy highway to get to the store

Was pushing my elderly grandma in her wheelchair. And a dump truck was parked on the sidewalk and asked the gentleman if he could move so we walked by. He did but it didn’t come without giving attitude about it

So disappointed. I ordered 2 loads of gravel last summer. When it got here there was no fines in it so we could pack it. I called the owner he came to my house and agreed that the first snow plowing would strip the driveway. Because it was the wrong rock for driveways. He agreed to bring more and peronaly make sure this was the rite stuff. Well they did bring 1 load. And it was the perfect driveway gravel. But only 1 load only dose half my driveway. And instead of making it rite by not charging me for someone else's mistake. I had to pay for that load as well. Don't trust this man. Or this company. You are only as good as your word. And he did not keep his. He did not make it rite. He did get me to buy 3 loads of gravel when I only needed 2 and now my driveway is so messed up. He

If I could Give 0 rating and just complain this would Be it. Such rude stuck up people. Couldn’t even assist me and there’s employees everywhere. Bad sense of direction To get material. No loader for 10 mins when I got there. Called the HR department and the lady Alice I think it is. So defensive and spoke outside of confidential regulations for human recource guidelines. I am not a consistent customer but I have gave my loyalty to bruening products because of Bullseye Trucking in Des Moines Iowa. Very little staff but a strong one at that last few times I visit. Aside of the decorah office staff. The product of these sister companies are a yes in my book. They don’t start focusing on having a dedicated staff, the fun and games check collecting workers will ruin a ton of families/careers t
