Buesching's On Lake Ave.

I ordered 5 yards of brown/ black/peat mix based on the lady on the phones reccomendation. I told her I didn't know what I would need to completely redo my big in ground garden as well as several raised bed gardens. She reccomended this mix and I'm so disappointed in it. It's hard and clumpy, we found several large clumps of asphalt and it's been down less than a week and I already have grass and weeds growing in from it. (Not from underneath bc I put weed barriers down). It was cheapest in town but now I see why, the quality is so poor; and to top it off delivery was $52 to go about a mile up the road. Spent a bunch of money and I'm gonna have to redo it anyway bc of how much grass and weeds are coming up from it. 😪 honestly only reason it's getting 2 is bc the people were friendly on the

The ladies that answer the phone are fantastic. Super friendly, professional, and helpful. Delivery driver is great as well. Close to our home and they have quality mulch and dirt. Thanks !

Called earlier in the day to price their Peat, Black, Brown soil mix - $22/yard. Confirmed closing time - 5:30p. Arrived about 4:40p. Asked for one yard Peat, Black, Brown soil mix. Charged $32/yard plus tax. I shared my earlier conversation about the price. She states - no, maybe you priced something else. I reminded her I was very specific that it was Peat, Black, Brown soil mix. After she realized I wasn't the crazy one, she states maybe I called their other store. They only charge $22/yard. I reiterated I called the Lake Ave store and believe I had talked to her. But why I asked, would this store charge 50% more? She states this store has to have their products trucked in. I just got virtually the same load of rocks from Felgers last weekend that cost me half the price I just spent at Bueshings. The staff was friendlier and more fair at competitor’s as well. I’m done with this business.
