Customer Reviews
I am in downtown Buffalo for business once a month. I specifically park in the ramps run by Buffalo Civic Auto Ramps because they are: 1) low priced; 2) clean; 3) well designed and maintained; 4) conveniently located and 5) large. The company also seems to take pride in the community (each ramp is named after a local leader) and make an effort to communicate with customers. I appreciate the notices they post in the elevators informing customers about changes and other useful information. At the end of the day it's a place to simply park your car but in my opinion a better choice than some of the other shoddy looking overpriced options in the area.
Great service getting the parking tag, which is working perfectly.
I have parked here for years and both cars I owned while parking here got covered in scratches and dings from other drivers hitting my car and what often looks like someone keying my car. They only have cameras at the entrances and exits so they always say there is nothing they can do. They charge $105 a month to park and for that price I feel my car should be secure. I will no longer be parking here.
BCAR focuses in overpriced lots. If you're looking for a monthly place to park while working in Buffalo, beware that the "customer service" you may receive when dealing with a problem or even when dealing with payments and information, BCAR really isn't on top of it. When I called them to tell them someone in the lot had opened their door into my vehicle and left a large dent and just drove away without leaving any information, they told me to call their number. When I did so, got laughed at when I asked about there being cameras to potentially find out who did it so I can find a way to contact them. If you pay between $1200 and $1700+ a year to park in a lot, you should at least try to put up some security cameras, even if it's for the general safety of your customers. The Seneca One lo
My only negative would be the ramp where I have been parking for the last three years has a serious water problem on sub-floor 2. When you are attempting to get to the stairs, there is literally a pool whenever it rains or thaws or snows heavily that makes it impossible to not soak your feet. Their last solution was to put a movable traffic sign as an island so you could essentially "Mario hop" your way to freedom.
