I hired Building Envelope Experts to install a new ProVia exterior door, door frame, and threshold for my basement. I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the installers’ work, as well as their professionalism. They showed up a little early, and actually finished a LOT earlier than I expected. They also cleaned up after they were done. The new door, door frame, and threshold look great. The price was great, too, given that I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money for just a basement door. Grant and his whole team were very professional and thorough with my attic insulation and air sealing job. Grant sat down with me for 2 hours to discuss everything about insulation, air sealing, hvac, and really create a whole game plan for the home. We discussed multiple options and price points. The work was a lot less disruptive than I had expected. It is a multi-day job, but the crew cleaned up after themselves everyday. Really looking forward to talking with Grant one day in the future when I need a new HVAC system.

In an era where it seems like a lot of businesses are running their employees ragged, with quick visits and cheap materials, optimizing margins.. you forget what good, thoughtful customer service along with a good work product can be like. Grant spent hours evaluating my home and explaining the plan in detail. I was on a budget, so he broke my plan down into sub projects in order of priority. I would like to give a huge “thank you” to Grant, Elijah, and several others involved in our basement humidity/window process. After we had our house built in 2018, we had multiple problems with huge blocks of ice forming in the corner of the basement window area during the wintertime. We later put multiple layers of Drylok, had the majority of basement walls spray foamed, and super sealed every little nook and crack we could find. However, as the years went by, we still had major condensation issues during the wintertime. The condensation was so bad that it literally looked like someone had left a water faucet on.
