Bynum Septic

I highly recommend this septic service. I love it when a service *saves* me money instead of trying to take as much money from me as they can get. Bynum Septic is apparently now Grumps Pumps. They came out the next day after I called for service. I thought our septic tank needed to be pumped out. (Noticed a bad odor in basement when upstairs laundry was draining, and the basement toilet started making a gurgling/bubbling sound). Jonathan and Bailey were professional, polite, efficient, and they really know their stuff! They came prepared with a property drawing from the county showing where our tank is located. **5 Stars** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve used Septic Blue for septic services 11/2022 septic was full again within in 2 years ,had a service again on November 15, 2024. After that visit, their technician suggested I replace the entire drain field for $11k without properly inspecting the system. Feeling unsure, I called Bynum Septic, and they squeezed me in the same day. The technicians, both named Matt, were friendly and professional. They inspected everything, didn’t need to pump the tank, installed a new cleanout, and fixed the part of the drain field where sewage wasn’t flowing. Now my toilets are working perfectly! I’m so thankful for their honesty and more affordable solution. Surely didn’t cost me $11k . I’ll definitely be calling them again and highly recommend Bynum Septic! God bless

Be careful with this company for septic drain because price may double. I called for an overfilled septic tank and drain. Told the lady on the phone what was going on that it was backing up. She said it would it would be 450. 250 to pump 200 disposal and may be diagnostic fee for troubleshooting if they had to do other work. No appointments for a week and scheduled it for 12pm. They did not show up or call me until 4pm. When he called to tell me his on the way he said that if is not a regular maintenance it cost 750 to drain. I already had the lid dug up and they just had to connect and drain. Went ahead and paid the rip off price just because I have been waiting a week for the appointment and has been waiting at the house all day for them to come. They did not do anything special just d

My mom and I were without hit water for a few days. We received an estimate to get a new hot water heater that was on the pricey side. However, they seemed more interested in selling me a tankless heater that cost more. Then I went to Home Depot and they referred me to Bynum & Sons Plumbing. I spoke with Tempest who shared the price and warranties of three units. Then they sent Luis, who is awesome, to manage the installation. He communicated with me every step of the way and answered my endless questions! We have hot water now and at a price that was better than my original quote.

My Septic was backing up into the house. I called Bynum and a tech arrived within an hour. They cleared the drain line into the septic tank to prevent further back up and scheduled a pump out the next day. The team arrived on time and completed the work exceptionally well. The also had to cut some concrete to get access to the second chamber and the filter. They changed the filter and installed new risers. They did not miss any detail. Very happy with their work.
