Working with Chet of CA Carpentry and his crew was great. Starting with discussion of what we wanted, through the estimate and work on the job, to completion—everything ran smoothly. If any problems came up, Chet dealt with them. He was there on site overseeing the project daily. His estimate was clear and fair, and he delivered what was promised. He’s worked with HOAs and inspectors a lot, so he knows the process well. He and his workers were there when they said they would be. But most important, our finished covered deck is absolutely beautiful! Everyone who sees it is thoroughly impressed. We are thrilled with it! I highly recommend CA Carpentry.

Chet, at CA Carpentry, was a pleasure to work with. The project started and ended exactly as scheduled. All the workers were nice, courteous, and friendly. Chet Anderson is an amazing contractor who replaced our second-story 20-year-old Trex deck a couple of years ago. We found Chet to be reasonably priced and detail oriented. He problem solved solutions to rebuilding the original deck that had been built incorrectly, causing safety issues. We love our new deck! Chet came to give us an estimate to extend our deck, and let me know that the decking that we had was delaminating and that it was still under warranty. He gave me the decking company's information and I was able to get a warranty refund for the decking. He then installed new decking, extended and raised a portion of our deck. He inspected and replaced joists that needed replacing, and walked us through the entire process. The job was done on schedule, and looks terrific. I highly recommend CA Carpentry for any work that you need done on your deck or if you are considering installing a new deck.
