Cabinets To Go

Dominick at the Albany store must be the most patient sales person alive. He worked with us on repeated designs, never losing track of his friendly demeanor and attention to detail. He helped us overcome some design obstacles and we're very happy with our end product kitchen cabinets, at half the cost of what we would have paid elsewhere and all of the quality of more expensive options.

Wow! What a relief finding Cabinets to Go for our kitchen renovation! We were getting sticker shock at the big box stores. Dominick was wonderful to work with! He scheduled a virtual meeting with us, and had multiple design choices at the ready when we visited the store. We changed our minds with the cabinetry discussed on the meeting, and he was able to swap out the cabinets lickety quick for us in his renderings based on the cabinet we fell in love with at the store .. the Slim Shaker! The quote for the cabinets, countertops with upgraded edging, sink, hardware, crown moulding cost was all below the quotes we received for the cabinets alone. Really excited to get this project started! 5 star review!

Update: Before and after photos. Just love my new kitchen. We are so pleased with the quality of the cabinets, countertops and flooring…and so pleased we shopped with cabinets to go. Dominick and his team were amazing. There was no sales pressure just great information to remodel our kitchen. They offered suggestions that we didn’t think about and it just made our part easier. My husband did all the labor…destruction and putting the cabinets together. Maple Tree Countertops installed the countertops. Everyone was so professional and did such an amazing job. *** EDITED 1 YR POST RENO*** Unfortunately I have to update one year post renovation with a reduction in stars. We have several pieces of the crown molding that are loose, as well as chips near cabinet pulls from when they were placed, loose handles, and discoloration of a part of our cabinetry that we alerted C2G to. We can understand a chip or two that was our own doing, but we noticed some in areas from improper fixation/ insufficient build/ poor design. C2G states this is normal wear and tear…. Within warranty… and on several pieces (crown molding especially) that shouldn’t have “wear and tear”. Unfortunate scenario, after being very understanding of hiccups that occurred during the original renovation project. We aren’t looking for a custom kitchen, but some positive customer service

I had an amazing experience with Dominick Ostrander designing a whole kitchen which alone felt nearly impossible. He exceeded my expectations to making the process feel simple and easy, especially it being my first design process ever.
