I often don't care too much about writing a review for a business, but in this case, I have to warn other potential customers to this vendor. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY (period). Do not do business with them. In our case, we, a well-known design firm, hired the CalPot to work on a project with us. They requested a large amount of Deposit (close to a thousand dollars), AND, they never delivered the order; they sent us a few samples. However the proofs they produced got worse with every round! After a year of asking for our deposit back, CalPot is no where to be found via email or telephone. Completely MIA!!! Do not fall into this scam.

DISHONEST. Desmond at California Pottery & Tile Works stole my $900 deposit! My husband and I were remodeling our home and went to the factory for a tour. We made a sample tile and then had one of the employees come to our home to measure our door. I pointed out that the linear square feet they measured for the door was incorrect. Because our door was rounded at the top, they couldn't figure out how to measure it correctly. Nobody ever came back to measure and they kept my deposit! I wrote emails to Desmond and he acknowledged that he had the money, but he said business was not doing well and that he would refund me when they finally had some money coming in. Desmond never refunded my deposit.

I’ve bought tiles for our home and all of our Air bnb properties (all Spanish homes) for the pools and various indoor projects such as stair risers for well over a decade. I’ve had nothing but positive, amazing experiences.

Like many other reviews, these brothers are plain liars, dishonest, I've lost so much time and money trying to get things done with them. Worst experience !!!! After seeing your reply, I am the one who's professional in this story, you can lie over and over again, I'm warning potential futur clients, there's a common theme in these reviews, there might be a truth to this!!!!!

DISHONEST and FRAUDULENT. STAY AWAY if you value your hard earned dollars. Desmond McLean, owner of this business, is criminally at fault and is refusing to cooperate with an ongoing insurance investigation. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!
