Calvert Plumbing Services

We have used Calvert Plumbing for years. They arrive on time and do very professional work. They have installed water heaters, toilets, replaced valves and shower drains, and cleared drain lines for us. Always left our house clean. I recommend them for any of your home plumbing needs. So it’s the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend and we have a toilet seal problem that’s scheduled to be fixed. Guy they send out comes up with a number of excuses why it can’t get done, communication wires get crossed, and one could make a case for either side had it not gotten completed. Last minute reprieve and the master plumber swooped in and got it done in under 30 minutes. Lessons were learned and thank god, a toilet is back in business.

They recently did a fine job of finding a septic problem, and looking at a water line issue. I highly recommend their professionalism and abilities. We have used them a couple times, always with great results.

Came out twice with 2 leaks. Would not honor warranty on work done. Leaks were same areas. Had to get another plumber and took photos of same leaks being repaired. Less two months from date of repair. Rude customer service. Wouldn’t let me talk to owner to resolve issue. Never use them again.

My mother-in-law had a shower replaced because he said it was needed. All that was wrong was the drain pipe came undone at the fitting to floor of shower. She got charged over $1500 to replace the shower but never fixed the drywall he pulled out. We had to get another person come in for an additional $700 to put it back correctly. I would never use him because he talked an old lady into upselling for more money into his pocket.
