Campbell Transfer & Storage

I would give this company zero stars, if permitted. On November 25th starting at 4:16pm. Steven Campbell the owner called me four times to price gouged at the last minute, thinking he had an easy lick. Not even close! The original quote of $320 change to $400 for my move. His poor reason was for his extra helper and the distance. All of this was discussed on Friday November 22nd. I made no changes to my move and Steven was given all information in writing via text on Friday. Campbell Transfer & Storage is not a good company. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! And had another company do the move on the same day.

I wouldn't give them this rating, My daughter hired them for a move schelduled for Dec.21,2024 and paid them in full 3 weeks prior before the move, he called about 1 week prior asking for a 100 dollars and after the move he would give the 100 dollars back, we didn't fall for that. Then on Dec.20th around about 11am he called and said he couldn't do the move on the 21st could we do it on the 22nd of Dec. my daughter told him no she had other people scheduled to do other work at her new residence that day also, so we had to scramble and get someone else to do the move, as of today Dec.31st 2024 he hasn't refunded the money, everytime you call him it is some type of excuse of why he can't refund the money when he say he is gonna refund it. SO PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY IT IS NOT WHAT IT US

This company is local and multi-generational. No worry of strangers from a corporate operation who may or may not know the area, etc. When you hire Campbell's, you get Campbells. Years of experience and a strong work ethic: staying in near-constant motion from start-to-finish. That "no nonsense" approach is appreciated - and why customers tend to call on them time and again - to consistent service from hard-working people - always

I only wish I could leave them negative stars. We booked with them SIX weeks ago. They showed up today and said they weren't going to do the job anymore. Literally walked away with us in boxes. I could NOT articulate stronger how unprofessional and horrible they were. They walked away and said 'nope, not gonna do the job anymore'. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE

We used Campbell's 23 years ago. We used them again this year. Part of our belongings were going to storage, the remainder was going to a rental house. It was complicated but all the men were helpful, upbeat and efficient. When we move into the new house in 6 months, we will use them again. They are efficient, honest and reasonably priced.
