I wish zero stars was an option. Absolutely the worst company that I've had frame a new construction home in 20yrs of building. Owner is full of excuses and has no idea if his own guys are doing it right. What should have taken 3 weeks actually took 8 weeks. Only one guy on the crew knew what he was doing and continually took short cuts trying to get done. Stay very far away from this company for anything you need done.

The good folks at Capital Home Improvement rebuilt a wall that had been badly water and termite damaged. Along the way, they rebuilt a wooden staircase leading down from the upstairs bedroom. We have been very pleased with all aspects of the job. Chris Dixon, the owner, was easy to work with and was very flexible about fine tuning the project to meet both our needs and our budget. The crews he sent out were, without exception, courteous and professional. We're very happy with the quality of the work. We will definitely call on Capital Home Improvement next time we have a building project, like the new roof and gutters we will be needing before too very long!

At first, the job went smoothly with Capital Home Improvement. They began work when promised. We contracted them for a new roof and interior work/ ceiling repair where the old roof had leaked. After installation of the new roof, we continued to find many nails around the perimeter of our home and one of our cars experienced a punctured tire. We also discovered a strut that secured our satellite dish in the middle of our back yard. It had been knocked off the roof during the installation. I contacted Capital Home Improvements about these problems but had unfortunately already paid them for the roof. When I did pay them for the roof work, I asked their representative directly if they would return to finish the ceiling job and repair the satellite dish. He assured me that they would. The ceil

If I could give negative stars, I totally would!!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend doing business with Chris Dixon and Capital Home Improvement. Chris contracted us to do some electrical work for him in May 2022. The first phase of the job was completed and he was invoiced. We invoiced him in May. Come July, it still hadn't been paid. Even after we started sending invoice reminders, still no payment. Come the beginning of Aug, I call to get an update. At this point, the invoice is OVER 60 days past due. When I called, Chris cussed me like a dog. Said he'd send the check. I let him speaking to me like that, slide and I moved on. We received the check on Aug 6th. We debated on finishing the 2nd phase. But we decided to, as it was unethical on our part, to not do so. So let's fast forward to

We used Capital Improvement on two major projects at our lake house. The first was to restructure our roof line, reroof and then to do repairs in the interior from damage from the original roof leaking. The second major project was to enclose an open porch with windows and screens, open an interior door and put flooring in this sunroom. The work done by this company was satisfactory although they not only leave construction debris on site but also littered with used drink cups, cigarette butts etc. Following the first project we were missing a mattress pad, sheets, washclothes, etc. The cost of these items were without complications deducted from our final bill. About 2-3 weeks after the second project was complete the house key which was temporarily left in a spot only for this company'
