Chad came out and got my furnace working for less than half the price of the other guy. I did not need to change out any part and I took him up on his recommendation for a new exhaust flue. He was honest, fair and did great work. I am very pleased with his service.

Called Cardinal seeking to install baseboard heating in my home. They arrived and were willing to proceed but it was suggested a to me that installing heat pumps would be a better, cheaper alternative both in installation costs and cost to operate. I was leery because I wasn't sure how you could get heat from outside when it was zero degrees but went with their suggestion. This year will begin our third winter using only heat pumps to heat my home and I couldn't be happier. Installation costs and cost to operate are indeed cheaper, as was claimed. They were prompt, have returned to check on somethings that were my fault, yet never charged me a dime for fixing my mistakes. Highly recommended.

I had a company out of Mentor come out because my furnace was “short cycling”. Was told we could spend $1500 to try and fix it, but no guarantee. It was suggested that we just get a new non efficient furnace for $4000. Found paperwork on warranty and showed it to them, but they acted as if it wouldn’t cover it and proceeded to push buying a new furnace. Call Chad at Cardinal Mechanical. He came out and looked at furnace and warranty. They went through the warranty company and for $0, yes zero dollars, my furnace is up and running. They got the parts and repaired it within the week.
