Carlisle Wide Plank Floors

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like the superior experience we’ve had all along with Carlisle Wide Plank Floors company is one of those situations where a review is fully deserved. The first visit to their Los Angeles showroom was very promising - the flooring displays looked really nice and of high quality, and after looking through all their samples and having a very informative discussion with Wendy (sales/design consultant), we came home with several samples. She also put us in touch with James, the regional sales director, because she was leaving on vacation in a few days and she didn’t want our project to get delayed, waiting for her return. This is my third time installing a Carlisle floor, and I continue to be impressed by the quality. I was initially concerned about installing such wide boards—3/4” thick and 10-16’ long—but the milling is incredibly precise. The color and finish are consistent, beautifully done, and carefully applied. Working with Wendy has been an absolute pleasure—she makes the process easy and enjoyable. My wife and I began purchasing Carlisle Eastern White Pine for our floors and ceilings in 2009 (our residence and guest house). Recently, in 2024, we purchased the same Eastern White Pine for our home and guest house in Montecito California. The floors and ceilings are beautiful and receive rave reviews from family, friends, and designers. In both instances, working with Carlisle has been a great experience! Both Wendy Grossman at the new West Coast store and their factory personnel on the East Coast are fantastic to work with and could't be more helpful.
