Carolina Moving moved us from Hardeeville, SC to Beech Island, SC in March. Among other things (scratch/gouge in wood floor, dirty hand smudges on freshly painted walls, AND broke our 19 month old 86”LG TV. They asked us for original receipts for TV (which we provided) and now only want to give us a low ball value. We knew there was a $500 deductible but the TV was purchase new in May 2023 for $1699.99 plus tax. Now they only want to give us $850.00 To replace the same unit is $2399,99 at Costco. Taking them to small claims court. Also, they put dirty runners down on our clean floors. Once I complained about pick up they were cleaner on the delivery end. They did gouge our hardwood floors during delivery but were able to fix. Do NOT recommend.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Carolina Moving & Storage. It was a local move of furniture only including a grand piano with several antique pieces and they very carefully and professionally wrapped all pieces in blankets and cellophane shrink wrap. They were also very good at handling the items through stairs and tight places making sure not to cause damage. All in all they executed a perfect move with zero defects and every piece was redelivered intact. They were also good at cleaning up after themselves and we felt that we got good value for the money we spent. We have moved at least a dozen times over the years and this was by far our best experience.

I have moved a number of times and this crew is the best. They showed up on time. Al and crew treated my goods carefully. Nothing was broken and no wall were scuffed. The guys were pleasant to work with. The cost came in under the quote. The company was flexible regarding the changing dates of our move. I would highly recommend Carolina Moving and Storage for a good moving experience.

Carolina Moving did a good job on our local move. They were there promptly, and worked enthusiastically on loading as well as unloading household goods. The crew chief was excellent, and made everything work smoothly on both ends. They did an excellent job putting furniture back together once we arrived at the new home. I would not hesitate to use this company again or highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

My husband and I just relocated to the low country from Maryland. We brought our furniture down and stored it in a facility near where our house was being built. We decided on Carolina Moving & Storage to move our furniture from the facility to our new home and were impressed with their willingness to assist us. The movers were very professional, courteous, and respectful and made it a point to handle our furniture with care. They also made sure each piece was positioned where we wanted it and took the time to set up our beds. The mover’s personalities were funny and they all appreciated the snacks and water we provided.
