Carpet Dimensions

I needed new carpet in a home I bought recently. So where do I look? At one of the big name home improvement stores where I dealt with four different people, and it took some time before I got a quote. I asked to make a change before signing the contract, and they never got back to me with an updated quote or new contract. I got tired of waiting. I found Carpet Dimensions on Google maps and stopped in to check them out. They had a huge selection of carpet, far greater than where I first looked. The salesperson at the store was very knowledgeable of the different types of carpet. Even though I had brought in measurements of my room and the stairs that I needed carpeted, the salesman insisted that someone come out and take measurements. We arranged an appointment. I sought out a carpet and flooring retailer and installer that has been in business for decades - specifically because I did not want to deal with the big box stores. I worked with Rob and his team on two different projects. First, I chose Mohawk LVP for upstairs rooms - I then came back for Mohawk carpet for a hallway and staircases. Rob is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The installation team did flawless work on both projects. I am extremely satisfied.

Horrible! My trim did not match the wood flooring. The padding does not come to the trim. I can put my foot between the two. I have been up there at least 4 times and called even more times. The one guy is never in or they are waiting for samples. It's been months! I've never received a call. The work and the customer service is awful. Used to be so much better years ago. Will never use again. Will be reporting to the BBB. Yes, that bad!

4-6-22: My wife and I just had our stairway and two bedrooms completed with new carpet. First off, Carpet Dimensions and Flooring are the best in the area for service and coming on-time to estimate the job. They answered all of our questions and provided a very reasonable timeframe for when the carpet would be arriving and being installed. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of the workmanship was very professional.
