Carrollton Concrete

Victor of Carrollton concrete came out to level and resurface the walkway to my home. When he finished up and left before it dried I noticed that there were some imperfections on the step so I gave him a call so could come back and fix it. Seemed like the right and reasonable thing to do. He made a fuss about how he had already left but agreed that he would come back. Long story less long, he never came back and we’re left to fix an eyesore in front of the home. As he worked he did nothing but uplift and talk about his work even to passing neighbors but this job ended up being unprofessional with terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

Victor came out the day I was taking estimates for the fence that was ruined and down by last weeks storm. We chose him because he was the only one out of at least 10 contractors who knew he had to put those posts farther in the concrete. His estimate was fair and he started Saturday when I gave him the OK. He also came out Sunday and my fence is complete today! Victor is a great contractor and we will use him for our apartment community repairs. A good contractor is very hard to find these days. I trust him.

I left a note on their website at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon for a new retaining wall. Victor texted me at 2:50. He called at 3:05. He was at my house by 4:30. He started working at 4:45. On a Friday afternoon. He worked Saturday and Sunday to get ahead of rain that was coming later in the week, and completed the job by Wednesday afternoon. It looks great and my neighbors are very impressed!

Very mixed experience with Carrollton Concrete. As you can see in the pictures the stamped concrete patio looks great. Also the backyard pavestone edging looks good. However, for some reason in they front they built up an enormous platform of concrete, did not smooth it, and did not make sure the stones were level. See for yourself in the pictures. The employees are as nice as can be and work very hard in ridiculously hot conditions. However, the bottom line is the work on the front does not look professional.
