Carruth Home Solutions

Following several bids with other contractors we hired Carruth to make needed updates to our home which included several plumbing tasks along with renovations of 2-1/2 baths. They brought our water heater install up to code by adding an expansion tank which prior owners had not done. Additionally, they switched out several “white devil” interior water shutoffs with angle stops and installed a new exterior water pressure gauge at the exterior shut off. All bathrooms were demoed as needed to install new counter tops, and tile for showers, tub and floor. A new shower configuration was framed and some texture work was needed on walls. Additionally, some electric work was completed to move existing light fixtures. All work was done using county permits (which Carruth obtained seamlessly for us)

When we bought our home in El Dorado Hills, it was in need of some repairs and one of our hopes was to replace our backyard deck as it was old and dilapidated. When the time came for that project, we reached out to several companies for bids. Carruth Home Solutions answered our call promptly and Steve Carruth came out to assess the job. What a great experience! Lots of options and design possibilities were gone over and he soon sent me a drawing of the proposed deck and railing including stairs. Carruth Home Solutions replaced two doors in my home. They did a wonderful job. I received a quote quickly and they were able to do the job the following week. The staff were very professional and easy to communicate with. The doors look fantastic. They left the job site very clean, and went the extra mile to remove the alarms from the door so carefully that the alarm company was able to reuse them to alarm the new doors. Overall an excellent experience.

Steve, Judah, and Micah were great to work with! We hired them to redo our primary bathroom - which ended up being a pretty big (and lengthy) project that involved homeowners insurance and a LOT of faulty work that had been done by the seller of the home. They were incredibly understanding throughout the process. They answered questions whenever we had them, gave great suggestions, and were so flexible whenever insurance hiccups occurred. We will definitely be using them again for future projects!

We've had several jobs done by Carruth Home Solutions over the last couple of years. Just recently we had sheetrock and texturing done in our livingroom. They were respectful to our home. They even put up dust sheeting with a zipper to keep the dust contained. We also had a water heater replaced the year before. Great job as well. These guys are very respectful and listen to your concerns without judgement. They are the best in our book!!
