Carter's Landscaping did an amazing job on a difficult area of my yard that was nothing but red clay and rocks and more rocks! They blew all the leaves off it and the surrounding area, graded it, raked it all down, added rich top soil and installed the sod. Carter and his crew were respectful, hardworking and made sure we were happy with the results. I will definitely use them again for all my landscaping needs.

We are thrilled with what Carter's Landscaping was able to do with the area in the front and side of our house! Carter was communicative with us throughout the process, very helpful with selecting new, full-sun-tolerant plants, and kept his prices fair with labor, mulch, and the re-planting. Importantly, his experience has helped him establish connections and resources for when unforeseen challenges occur, like renting an excavator from a different town on a Saturday, because Durham options were closed, to take out deeply buried roots. The owner of Carters Landscaping has an impeccable work ethic. He goes beyond expectations in everything his crew has done for me. Recently, he went out of his way to help a neighbor in need at no charge. I was very touched by his act of kindness.

Darn it, I should have taken before and after pictures! Carter and his crew just tamed decades of tree and shrub overgrowth in the backyard of the Old West Durham home we just moved into...including hauling away multiple trailer loads of tree branches, limbs, and trunks! Carter's team worked tirelessly and efficiently, from morning until early evening, and checked in with us each step of the way. We were so impressed with the work that we have already asked them to come back to tackle some of the next steps in restoring our natural landscape. Highly recommend!
