Cascade Rock really failed us and failed our landscaper. We had over 8 cubic yards of slate chips delivered, over $1,000 worth of material. I asked them to dump it away from my car parked in the driveway. Instead the driver dumped the load right behind my car. When we looked at the material we were angry, it was covered with a thick coating of wet slate dust. It all needed to be washed off before installing. Our landscaper had to bring in an extra crew member to do that and over 900 gallons of water was used to wash much, but not all of the wet dust away. To add insult to injury, the city saw all the sludge remaining in the gutter and would penalize us if it is not removed within three days. Do not buy their special raised bed soil mix. It’s hydrophobic. We dumped so much water and had to mix it rigorously. After an entire winter, we have started planting in March. The soil is just way too compact. We purchased soil before and it has never been this bad. Photo is taken after light rain last night and light raking with a hand rake.

Cascade rock has a great selection of different boulders, rocks, gravel and bark. We have bought several different types of product for our landscaping, and all of it is great. Their employees are also very friendly and helpful. They are happy to explain different materials and point out options. We have also used their delivery, and Charlie is very skilled with their forklift. He has helped us place boulders strategically, and also dumped our deliveries in convenient spots to save us labor moving it. Highly recommend Cascade Rock!

Just left Cascade Rock for the first time and had a wonderful experience! Omar was great at helping us get the boulders and slate we needed for our garden. We are always doing projects in our yard and I am so happy I found this place! Super affordable and everyone is so nice. I will definitely be back!

I have been to several ROCK stores. Cascade is my favorite. VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL staff. That made the difference for me. I got 90% of my rocks from cascade and made this waterfall. Lava, Sonoma Gold, Feather rocks and River rocks mostly.
