Centerpark East 39th Street Parking Garage

I pre-booked and prepaid for a parking spot through SpotHero, but when I arrived, I was told they had no room for my car. I explained that I already had a confirmed reservation and had paid in advance, but the employee was extremely rude and dismissive. In broken English, he repeatedly said he “didn’t care” and told me to deal with SpotHero myself. It felt very much like they were trying to push me out so I would pay a higher rate directly. The employee’s behavior was angry, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. When I stood my ground and asked him to speak respectfully, he became aggressive and started jumping toward me. STAY AWAY. Unfortunately there is no possibility to give -10 Stars. Never in my entire life will I park here again. We arrived earlier upon our reservation. I asked the attendant if that is a problem and the reply was " no problem at all". I handed over a nice tip and was told the reservation was paid. Upon picking up the car earlier, we are being told by a team of 3 attendants in poor English we had to pay. After asking for an explanation we received a manager on the speaker phone. (Jorge) that we have to pay an additional 28 dollars before getting the car after already paying 21 dollars. The arrogance of this individual, calling himself a manager is a sad thing. There is not one moment where you see any kind of customer service, the only words I have for this place is " RIP- OFF". Too

Avoid Center Park on 39th Street: Unfair Charges & No Response I reserved parking through SpotHero for $41 (2:30–4:30 PM), arrived at 2:19 PM, and without any warning was hit with an extra $9 “early fee.” That delay pushed my exit time past my reservation, and I was forced to pay $49.40 on top of what I had already prepaid—essentially double-paying for two hours of parking. I reached out to Center Park twice with proof of payment—once by phone the same day and once by email—but never received a response. For a business that relies on repeat customers, the lack of accountability is pretty telling. The truth is, there are two other garages on the same block, and paying $2-3 more for accountability assurance is more than logical. As a business across the street, I’ll be taking my business

Never park here! I originally made a reservation for 3:30 pm. Since I arrived earlier, I cancelled my original reservation and booked another one for 3:15 pm, so I can enter and park earlier. I offered to show the barcode when I left the car, but the person that parked the car said to show it when I come back to retrieve my car. At my pick up time ( less than 1 hr), the person that processed my reservation asked me to pay. I showed hime that I actually paid twice for this parking, as the 1st reservation still showed on my credit card. On my Best Parking app I only had the 3:15 pm reservation, and Jorge ( who claimed to also be the manager) asked me to pay again - more money- $25 instead my reserved $20...He claimed that since I cancelled my 3:30 pm, he does not see my new (3:15 pm_ reserva

Online reservation, drop off, pick up, and payment were flawless. Pricing was incredibly fair, given its Manhattan. Manager Jorge and his team are excellent.
