Centerpark West 17th Street Parking Garage

Easy as pie. $45 for 4 hours. Attendant was quick and polite. Waited only a few minutes for the attendant to give me my ticket and my car was already ready when I came back to pick up.

This is the worst parking garage I have ever dealt with in the city. The attendant is extremely rude and charged me an extra 10 dollars for "returning early" although I had informed him when dropping off my car that I did not know what time I would return, and it would be 10:30 the latest. I returned at 9, and got SCREAMED at by the attendant, he told me that I needed to "leave right now" and "come back in two hours" or else he would charge me 10$ extra to retrieve my car. I was extremely kind and tried to explain my situation to the attendant, said I was very sorry, yet I had to pay 10$ cash to get my car back. He said my returning "earlier than I said" was a problem because he would have to move other cars out of the way....we watched him retrieve my car and there was not a single car in

These people are not honest. I originally reserved parking at this location through Spot Hero, which was paid in full. I reserved for three hours, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. However, due to traffic, I arrived at 12:25 pm. I returned to pick up the car at 12:15 pm, so parked for less than the three hours I paid for. I was told that I would then have to pay for an extra hour, because I came after 3:00 pm. That charge was $20 dollars! But, to add insult to injury, they then charged me TWICE for an "oversize" fee, which was an additional $20 ($10 x 2)! They claimed that they were entitled to charge an oversize fee for the Spot Hero reservation, as well as again for the extra "hour". So I had to pay $40 to get my car back, on top of the $22 I had already paid to Spot Hero which the garage

Staff needs to be retrained. A combative attendant made me wait 10 minutes in the driveway entrance because the time I scheduled was 10 minutes later. No one in the many garages I have used has been so specific about the time. He even told me to reschedule at the last minute to include the early 10 minutes! I would have lost my reservation and probably would have paid much more with a last minute reservation. Unpleasant staff member needs customer service training.

I reserved a space ahead of time and was turned away on arrival as they said they were full. I had to find alternative parking and so was late for my meeting. I saw this happen before to another customer too - if you're looking for a reliable spot... maybe try somewhere else.
