Centerville Landscape & Irrigation

After getting 3 quotes on a landscaping project we decided to choose Centerville Landscaping. Cooper Solin was a pleasure to work with. It was great sharing ideas and he was very flexible. The work crew was incredible. They pulled 11 overgrown arborvitae and used plywood to prevent damage to the lawn. They brought in new top soil, mulch and planted a 3” maple tree and several columnar junipers. During the project they discovered a downspout drain was completely clogged with roots. They installed a new 4” drain. Finally they added river rock and built a 6x6 grill pad. The crew members were very friendly and cleaned up all debris.

I’ve had a great experience in my first season with Centerville Landscape & Irrigation. We’ve had them install our mulch, start up our irrigation system and handle the weekly mowing of our property. The teams have been courteous and respectful on property and have taken care of any additional requests promptly. I’d like to give special mention to Daniel, Landscape Operations Manager, and the on going communication that we have. His promptness in responding is second to none and his answer always seems to be “yes” 😀. I value communication above all and Dan’s is top notch!!! Also Jesse, the mowing crew leader, is very meticulous about the quality of each cut and takes pride in the finished product which I appreciate very much!!! We have just started a large project of removing and redesigning all landscaping on the property and Phase 1 has gone perfectly. Dan Hargis noticed issues with the existing drainage potentially damaging our driveway, fascia and foundation and addressed those as part of Phase 1. After removing all vegetation around the house and mulching, we look 100% better. I look forward to seeing their designs for spring planting. They were supposed to come big out the old mulch and get it below the foundation line. While they got it under the foundation line at the house it goes up away from the house at an incline so now the area holds water which was the purpose of the entire job in the first place get the stuff off the foundation line. I gave Tom a chance to come back out and level it but he seems to thing that this is how mulch is supposed to look. If I would have realized this was the quality of the work we would have gone with literally anyone else. This $2000 dollar mulch job should look like it was done by people that understood the basics of laying mulch. It should always flow down away from the house at a decline. Had one of there drivers cut me off today. If it wasn’t for my quick braking he would have slammed into the driver side. I had my children in the car at the time as well! I was turning right at a yellow light. Then he proceeded to speed through Bellbrook. Must be in a hurry to get to a bar or something.
