I have been a customer here for more than five years. Each time some part broke with our sprinkler system I would go here to purchase parts, from sprinkler heads, pipe, to accessory. Last Wednesday two jar top solenoids failed so I came in to purchase new ones. But when I replaced the solenoids the valves did not shut off. Today I came in and met Eric and explained what I observed and showing him my valve bonnet. Eric explained to me what was wrong in details with what I was seeing. Then he offered a new valve bonnet that would work with the new solenoid (at no charge). I took the part home and tried it and it worked. This company has integrity and takes a great deal of care and time with my sprinkler system - and I learn a lot from them every time they are here. CJI sent a crew to replace two zones and reactivated my front yard system when it was mostly dug out for the installation of new septic. There work was clean, all the heads were clearly marked, they examined my entire system (19 zones - 80 heads!), adjusted heads, and quickly fixed a broken head and a valve. On another service call for a bad valve, in which an unrelated problem with wiring was discovered, the tech was very diligent in trouble-shooting the mystery and made several modifications to improve the situation, taking over an hour of unanticipated time but not charging anything extra for this emergent problem. I needed a few parts for my drip irrigation system regarding all my shrubs, perennials and trees along my front walkway. Jeff was fabulous in getting me the three (3) parts I needed for the defective lines that had become clogged somewhere. The costs for purchasing the parts somewhere along the clogged lines were very inexpensive and so much easier to purchase without confusion due to Jeffs' expertise. Central Jersey Sprinklers installed our sprinkler system 27 years ago and have continued to open and winterize our sprinklers ever since. We have always been able to get an appointment and have found them to be timely and always come within our scheduled window of time. They have also installed sprinklers and serviced for my parents, who also continue to be long-time, loyal customers. As a matter of fact, the office staff has always been very helpful every year coordinating our openings/closings so we have back-to-back appointment times so only one of us needs to be home and and we do live in separate towns. The technicians are always polite. I would highly recommend, they're a long-time established local buisness.

I had an appointment specifically for spring break due to my job. After waiting one hour for the technical, I called for a status. The office rep who took the call was unprofessional and acted bored. Her only response was that they were on another call. Two hours after the appointment time I received a call from the technician (Jason - I think), informing me that he was on his way and should arrive 2 hours and 15 minutes after my original appointment time!! This was unacceptable as I had to leave shortly for another scheduled appointment. Though the technician was understanding about my problem, he said that the office should have told me about the 2-4 hour window when scheduling is done. I, obviously, didn’t get that information!
