Central Oil

Well... I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with this place lately. We have been customers of Central Oil for about 13 years now. In the beginning it was great. Called for a delivery, twenty minutes later there they were. NOT. ANY. MORE. I would like for the remainder of this message to be looked at less as a review and more as an open letter from one local business owner to another about how a local business is losing its focus on its customers. The way you are treating people as of late needs to be addressed and sometimes a little public embarrassment goes a long way in steering things in a more positive direction. I'll echo the sentiments of another recent reviewer because my experience was VERY similar. I wonder if we dealt with the same person... To put it plainly,

I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with Central Oil. I paid for oil service several days ago, and I was assured it would be delivered the next day. Now they say not until Monday, which is unacceptable since I have minors at home and extreme temperatures. Moreover, every time I communicate, I receive negative attitude and disrespect, especially if you don’t speak perfect English. This experience has been discriminatory and disrespectful. I do not recommend them.

Everybody yaps about lousy service. I can't say that about Central Energy. You call and they respond. I've been a customer for over 40 years. Yesterday we ran out of oil. I called Marty Topor's son Chris and the tank was filled within an hour. He said if it didn't kick on, to give him a call they might have to bleed the line. It didn't start. Chris sent his techs Seth and Steve and within 10 mins it was roaring. I'm telling you, nobody provides better/faster service.

Our furnace stopped running, showing it had a half a tank. It was almost quiting time when we called to have someone come to look if possible. Within a half an hour their tech was here and gone within 15-29 minutes with a working furnace!! I've waited hours for other services unrelated and NEVER had such speedy help. The tech was polite and personalble . THANK YOU

Very poor customer service. Communication is bad, wait times are long, and the attitude is rude. If you don’t speak perfect English, the treatment changes and things are not explained respectfully or clearly. The service does not match the positive reviews shown here.
