Tried talking to a human is a joke. This company suuuuucks. Tried helping my grandma with her service. She is only getting 45 mbps and she is paying for 100. Tried calling support on Sunday to just get info on a quote for new equipment or anything really. All I got was a ring around the rosie on the automation system. Absolutely unacceptable. I told her to give her money to someone who has a human to talk to.

CenturyLink is the embodiment of unchecked corporate greed, operating under the hollow shell of Lumen Technologies (LUMN). The company has made it abundantly clear that customer well-being comes dead last as shareholder profits are the sole priority. Their customer service is a masterclass in stonewalling, deflection, and indifference. Internet speeds are routinely throttled, outages are not the exception but the norm, and accountability is nonexistent. In a market where alternatives like Bountiful Fiber now exist, there is no rational justification for subjecting yourself to CenturyLink’s negligence and corporate sadism. I would STRONGLY advise avoiding this company under every conceivable circumstance.

Price for life was a lie. 30$ is now 46$. Might as well go with a gig for 50$ with xfinity unfortunately .

Centurylink: A Customer's Nightmare I've been a Centurylink customer for over six years, and my recent experience has completely eroded my trust in their service. My internet was out for a staggering 17 hours, and despite trying all the recommended troubleshooting steps (re-powering, resetting, calling Centurylink), I still couldn't resolve the issue. The customer service I received was equally frustrating. After waiting in an automated system for 30 minutes each time, I was transferred to multiple representatives who seemed more interested in upselling me than resolving my problem. CenturyLink fiber is good when it works, but you're better off praying to whatever god(s) you believe in for help rather than call their customer service or tech support when it breaks. On internet outage day 9 with countless calls, two different in person techs, and most recently three no shows to repair appointments. Can't wait for GoogleFiber or Utopia to be installed in the area.
