My family had a great experience with Chaffee. I called on a Sunday regarding a gas leak we discovered with our heating unit. They were able to respond within hours on a weekend at the last second. They worked closely with the gas company over the following days to resolve our issue. Everyone from the dispatcher to all of the technicians seemed more than capable at their jobs, and they were very knowledgeable and friendly. The company has great communication and kept us informed along the way. We highly recommend Chaffee for their exceptional service. Couldn't be happier with the new HVAC system installed by the Chaffee team. Called on a Thursday after seeing water dripping from the old unit. Technician Jason came Friday afternoon to troubleshoot and determined there were too many issues to spend money on fixing (heat pump was 12 years old). Immediately was connected to Keith who provided options for a new unit. He came on Monday to confirm the requirements, then presented my wife and I the best options for natural gas replacement at reasonable prices without trying to oversell or pressure us. Chaffee had replaced our daughter's AC unit so we didn't really need to shop around based on that experience. We have had a lot of issues with our system that we got just a couple years ago. But they have done everything they can to help us and came out in a quick manor to try to get everything back going! We do have a warranty thankfully! Got home yesterday and it was froze up! Definitely not what you want to see when it’s so cold out and you have pets and a family lol but as soon as I called they jumped into action and I couldn’t be more thankful! Devin showed up in less than an hour and was very quick at diagnosing the problem and going over what we could do to stay warm until they were able to get back out with the part to fix it! I had some issues with my heat pump not performing quite as well during the winter. So, I called Chaffee to come out and assess the unit due to the great reviews I saw on google. Earl came out and was very nice and knowledgeable. After checking the unit out, he said that the unit was low on refrigerant and likely had a leak in the condensing unit but wouldn't actually find the leak in the condensing unit unless I agreed to another $500 charge to do that. Then he insisted because of this and the unit being almost 10 years old that the entire unit be replaced. Keith then came out and put together quotes for me and was very accommodating to help me figure out what I wanted. Jason came to our house to assist us with a heating issue where we didn’t have heat in part of the house. He was prompt, courteous, and he went out of his way to check everything to make sure we didn’t have to spend additional money, when he could have charged us for something that we didn’t need. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs quick and competent service.
