I have been using Chalker Heating & Fuel since I relocated to Cape Cod many years ago. I have never had anything but a positive experience with them. Mark, Terry, and Crystal run the business, and all of them are a pleasure to work with. Chalker is one of the few oil service companies that offers a budget plan in my area, and I find that incredibly helpful. It is so nice to have a set monthly payment for ten months, than to be required to produce many hundreds of dollars to fill the tank when needed. Chalker is flexible with this budget, as well. If there is extra in your plan, you may use it to service your furnace, etc.. Chalker has serviced my oil furnace since before moving into my home, and they always do a great job. Will keep this simple. Friend recommended Chalker for an AC installation so we had them in for a look at our home. Nearly 12 WEEKS later, was informed that their engineers fouled up their quote plus they were too busy to take on the job. The engineering delay was one thing but it would have been nice to know early on that they were too busy to take on our AC installation on one of the 5 follow up calls I made in order to line up additional bidders.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been doing business with this company for over a decade. They have serviced numerous homes and boilers on my behalf. They have saved me more money than they have charged me in fuel. On numerous occasions when told by "other plumbers" that my equipment was broken, unserviceable or just not repairable, Chalker has fixed it with no mention of any of the above. These "unrepairable" and "unreliable" boilers have provided low cost issue free hot water and heat for 7 years now... Class act all the way.. you can't find many companies like this today.

Do not do business with this company. Had maintenance done on my oil burner. Few months later went to check oil level and gauge was gone. Called this company to let them know the gauge was gone. Denied it was their maintenance person. Came over replaced it told me I was out of oil. Filled with oil and still did not register anything in the tank. Called the company and lady sends me to owner. Owner tried to talk over me and denied it was them that they did anything to gauge originally. I told them it was broken and why would they leave it like that. I live alone no one had access to that tank except this company. I told him I wanted it fixed then the owner said why don’t He come over and show it wasn’t them. Literally threatening me because of their mistake. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPAN
