Chambers Street Garage

Called to see if my full sized pickup would fit. They said it would with no problem on the upper deck. After driving through listening to all the metal signs beat the hell out of the roof of my truck, I get to the upper deck and there wasn't 1 place I could of fit . Almost got stuck on the upper deck due to how tight it is and the amount of traffic.

Garage has no sensor whether it's full. On a Saturday afternoon, 20 cars were circling the tight space and eventually all left because there's no space. Funny part is that after 10 minutes of driving around, I had to pay to get out without even parking there. No human assistance on site either - perhaps on purpose.

Barricaded and says lot is full. Waste of time for cars to have no idea it’s closed until they approach the entrance. Post more signs so you don’t waste anyone’s time

Horrible assistance. A car in front of me didnt realize they had to pay their ticket before leaving the garage. So to be nice and so cars behind didnt have to try and back up into the lot I used my garage pass to pay for them. I then couldn't leave myself because my pass had been used. Rather than giving me a free ticket or helping the "attendant" said only her manager could do something and he wasn't there. Are you kidding me!!?? So I had to pay $36 for a "lost" ticket because I tried to do something nice for someone else. I work in Palmer Square and am beyond disgusted and annoyed at the lack and care and consideration I just dealt with. Be better.

The sign says overnight parking is $4, but be out by 7am. I asked the attendant at night what would happen if we didn't pick the car up until 10am, she said it would start charging the daily rate after 7am. So at 10am it would be $4 + 3 hours = $11. My wife gets the car at 8am and the bill is $25.50! The attendant there gives her the run around about how "it's a new day". (Btw we picked the car up on a Sunday and Sunday was supposed to have a flat rate of $6.)
