I highly recommend Checkpoint Electric. I hired them to relocate and update the breaker panel in my house. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Replacing the electrical service entrance to my house required coordination with the power company, and required the power to be out throughout my home - communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They completed the job in the timeframe that was explained to me, and the total cost did not exceed what was quoted. When they removed my old electrical meter, they found that there was an unexpectedly large hole in my siding hidden underneath; they purchased replacement siding, installed it, and even gave me the extra material for my future use! I bought an older home that already had the main service upgraded, but the interior was still mostly 1950s electrical. Jonathan modernized everything — upgraded all outlets and switches with GFCI and tamper-resistant protection, added new lighting and dimmers throughout, and installed ceiling fans and updated fixtures in multiple rooms. Every detail was handled with care, and everything looks clean, functions perfectly, and was done right the first time. I’m thankful to both Lynne and Jonathan. I just discovered Checkpoint Electric, Inc. and I am so glad I gave them a try. I have called Jonathon out on two small jobs in the last two months. The first time was to disable old hot tub wiring that was discovered during a deck remodel. He came out the same day I called, coordinated with the contractor and had the issue corrected in minutes. The second time I called Jonathon was to replace a GFI that had failed in my garage after a 3 week odyssey with the two garage door openers after a recent replacement. He had that issue fixed in record time as well.
