Chet's Roofing went above and beyond in every instance when they replaced our roof. A severe wind storm had blown shingles off, which they came and tarped for the most reasonable price we found. I then got an estimate from Chet's and it also was the most reasonable. Our neighbor had just had their roof replaced by them, and they had only good things to say, so we went ahead with the roof replacement. Lucas helped us with the shingle choice with samples he had in his truck and with many other details that made the entire experience smooth and worry-free. The front desk worked with us on scheduling to fit us in ideally to our schedule. The work also was done in two days, while working in difficult weather conditions. We had Chet's Roofing install a new asphalt shingle roof and gutter replacements. Lucas started by providing the estimates which he did for several different shingle types. The estimate was prompt and clear. We thought the gutters were a little high and Chet's did get a better price for us. The work was done in one day and everything was thoroughly cleaned up. We were away and could not inspect so Lucas went up on the roof and took photos. Other than a couple small end pieces that missed the valley trimming, everything was perfect. I recommend Chet's Roofing without hesitation. You will get great service, a quality job and the best price. We had four estimates and Chet's was the best on an apples to apples comparison. Chet’s helped us through a very difficult time when we had a massive 130ft tree fall onto our house. We were expecting a new baby soon and the repairs were overwhelming, but from the minute we started working with Chet’s we were assured they would help us through the process, and they did! From tarping the house (multiple times due to high velocity winds) through the last day of painting and final touches, they were so kind and thoughtful and helped us through every single step. We couldn’t be happier with their quality of work and the attention to detail they provided. Chet and others came out multiple times throughout the entire process to talk with us about everything and we appreciated that so much. They are a kind and honest company that I highly recommend. On Oct 31, 2025 Chet's Roofing received an "Invitation to Bid" on my extensive roof replacement & drywall repair project from the King County Housing Repair Program (Chet's is on their "approved contractors" list). Finally, after two weeks' worth of several back n' fourth calls and rescheduling appointments, Shane from Chet's finally made it out to my house. Showed up without the drywall guy Alex though (who said he didn't have the appt. on his schedule) so I called the office and was told Alex would come out the next day. He did show, after I called the office AGAIN, and was over 30 min. late. That was on Nov 13. Since then, the program rep I'm working with GHOSTED me and we never received any estimates for the work. All of that time spent for NOTHING.
