We came to ChexVanz after owning a 2005 Sprinter 140 build for a few years and learning about Vanlife. We were in the market looking for a newer and larger unit and had spent about a year evaluating manufactured builds - Revel, Storyteller Overland, Outside Vans and non-professional builds. ChexVanz's RoRo build on the Sprinter 170 wheelbase had a layout that addressed our needs and wants so we scheduled an appointment and tour with Jonathan and Robin. We were impressed by their equipment and material knowledge, craftsmanship and willingness to customize a build to meet our objectives. I can’t say enough about the amazing work Robin, Jonathan, and the whole VanzChex team did on my van. They turned it into the perfect balance between a mobile home and a fully functional OTR expedite business vehicle. The build was top-notch—AC, Maxxfan, heater, triple insulation, solid flooring, batteries, antenna booster, smart TV, and pre-wiring for solar. The bed is incredibly comfortable, which makes long runs (sometimes close to 1,000 miles a day) so much easier. I picked up my van in September and already put 12,000 miles on it across the country—everything has performed flawlessly. What really sets them apart is their honesty, knowledge, and aftercare. Jonathan, Robin, and the whole team at Chex Vanz are amazing! They helped me with a custom butcher block countertop for my van. It turned out beautifully! They made it fit perfectly with the curve of the van and my cabinets. They also cut out a drop-in countertop piece for the sink that looks incredible and works perfectly. They were in constant contact with me throughout the project, sending me videos and pictures of the in-progress work, making sure everything was exactly right! Not only did they cut the countertop, but they also took extra time to reinforce my kitchen cabinets, and now they are so much more solid than before. We emailed ahead of time to meet with them to discuss buildout on van. They were very friendly, answered all our questions, spent at least an hour with us. We toured two vans in build and the quality of work looks great. Seem very knowledgeable on anything you may want to consider in a van build.

We emailed the general contact us email on a weekend and they responded within 20 minutes. To our surprise they told us we could bring the van by. They ended up fixing a roof leak around the Maxx Air fan. Price was great, easy to work with and communicated to us what was going on. Not to mention they are in Nova area. Highly recommend! While we were at the shop we also saw some of the builds going on and they looked beautiful.
