Chicago Handy

We had an excellent experience with Chicago Handy and highly recommend them. Norbert made scheduling and payment seamless, and Daniel did a fantastic job at our home handling drywall repair, baseboards, tile and grout, and wallpaper repair. He arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally, paid great attention to detail, and made sure everything was done right. He was also incredibly kind and respectful of our home, even taking care around our animals, which we truly appreciated. We are extremely satisfied with the results and will absolutely be using Chicago Handy again.

Outstanding company. Norbert (owner) responds to inquires and requests in a timely and efficient manner (including scheduling). This company is opposite of the “nobody wants to do my home improvement job”. They will do pretty much any project within reason. They have helped me with so many different projects—big/complicated and fast/easy. Norbert always sends the right team (or comes himself) and the job is done right the first time. It is great to see a business in our community providing excellent customer service and topnotch work. I also really appreciate that Norbert personally calls and checks at end of project to solicit feedback and make sure we are satisfied!

I hired Chicago Handy for drywall repair and painting work in my condo, and I’m very satisfied with the results. The work involved repairing damaged plaster/drywall and repainting, and everything was done carefully and thoroughly. They took the time to do the job correctly rather than rushing it, and the finished product blends seamlessly with the surrounding ceiling and walls. Communication was clear throughout the process, expectations were set upfront, and the pricing was fair for the amount of labor involved. I appreciated their attention to detail and professionalism, especially on an older building where these repairs aren’t always straightforward. I would definitely use Chicago Handy again and would recommend them to anyone needing drywall repair or painting work in Chicago.

Norbert and his team were great! We had a couple of small drywall jobs, and everything was patched up in a timely, professional manner. Really appreciated how clean they kept everything, from taking their shoes off inside our home to laying tarp down for their materials and tools. Would use them again for household/drywall repairs, highly recommend!

Haven't used a handyman/service before Chicago Handy but I highly recommend. I had a project and was in contact with 5 handyman companies. Norbert from Chicago Handy was the most responsive, but made the process as easy as possible to understand my project/requirements, quick estimate and even walked me through some options that could change final pricing. The actual handyman that came out, Zibby, is a true gentleman and gets the job done with a light and friendly attitude. Would absolutely use these guys again!
