Chicago place garage

I never post any reviews but both valet attendants were extremely rude. One gave me attitude after asking a simple question and the other was shouting at me rushing me to get out of the parking spot and I still had half an hour of parking time. Don’t waste your money here.

All was decent until we were returned our key fob without the previously-attached lanyard. The valet told us that he left the lanyard in the vehicle (which is already unusual but okay..) and then, upon checking the vehicle, noticed the lanyard was broken and a piece is missing entirely. If you’re going to mess with someone’s stuff at least do it carefully man, that lanyard held sentimental value for years :(

I reserved a spot online prior to arriving to save time. The garage was easy to locate. The gentleman working (Daniel I believe) was very kind upon arrival. Just pull up, leave your keys in the vehicle and they’ll tag your car and park it for you. It is valet only. Just be aware that the drive down into the garage is VERY steep.

Aside from the old short male valet who tries to pick a fight with each customer that comes in, the pricing for this garage is actually not bad for being downtown.

I reserved a space through SpotHero and was turned away for the garage being “full.” The valet told us we had to cancel with SpotHero even though they were the ones who needed to cancel. The valet was extremely rude, yelled at our party, and even ripped a paper out of my friend’s hand because she wanted the number for the garage. The entrance has a long, steep hill down and there was nowhere to turn around in the incredibly tight area at the bottom. The garage was still accepting reservations on SpotHero even after all of this and supposedly being “full.” I would never recommend this garage to anyone. Save yourself the hassle.
