If I could give him 10 stars, I absolutely would! We had our fireplace inspected and cleaned by them for the first time today (the recommended yearly service). Scheduling was literally a pleasure as opposed to a tedious task that I had been dreading with calling up different places for quotes! Kristina was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, and won my business with no hesitation from my first call to them! The technician who came out to our home today, Alex, only reinforced my gut feeling that I had made a good decision by hiring them. VERY professional and friendly, great communication, honest, clean, quiet, quick, and courteous!! Customer service has been amazing through and through! They made this such a great experience and won themselves a loyal customer going forward!! ⭐⭐

Had a great first experience with Chicagoland Fireplace & Chimney. Needed my chimney cleaned then a bit of love for our 20 year-old gas fireplace. Daniel and Alex were pros...arrived when promised, were respectful in keeping my home clean while working and made some great suggestions to refurbish my fireplace without blowing the bank. Olivia was super helpful booking the appointment then following up as it approached. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic experience with Chicagoland Fireplace and Chimney. We had just purchased our home and it needed some updating. Nick came out for the initial walk-through and was extremely helpful with explaining all that we could do and how it would be completed. We decided on a new linear gas fireplace and having the vent ran up the chimney so there wasn't anything protruding out of the side of the house. We also had a new chimney cap poured and installed as the current one was cracked. Pete came to manage the installers and it was a pleasure working with him. Extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions that we had. He is very knowledgeable and made sure to explain everything that was being done. New Response… January 7, 2026 Thanks, Olivia. I understand that I have an older Canadian-manufactured unit (common in the 1990s–early 2000s) and that SFC is no longer in business. Your technician stated that “they don’t make the part anymore.” That portion is accurate. However, no longer manufactured does not necessarily mean no longer replaceable. The issue is not the fireplace itself, but the valve and pilot system. After conducting my own research, I learned that there are well-established generic and aftermarket retrofit options that are still manufactured and commonly used on discontinued units. Beyond my expectations..... super friendly guys, alerted me to some problems but had the necessary items in stock on their truck and were able to correct on the spot. I will definitely call them in the spring for preventative maintenance!
