Today The chimney company fixed the expansion gap around my flue liner. It was causing some cracks in the crown. They rebuilt the crown and sealed it up solid. Feels secure now. Will use again, best in winfield, il.

Noticed some white powder all over the bricks outside and figured something was off with the chimney. Chimcare came by a few days ago and sealed up the gaps inside the liner that were causing it. The damage had stopped right at the roofline, so they rebuilt that part of the chimney today. Matt was great, explained what needed to be done and got it all sealed up solid and feels good knowing the leak won't come back now. Everything looks sturdy and finished cleanly and the problem's totally fixed for now.
