Chip A Stump

I don’t know why that guy gave one star but Chris has been grinding stumps for me for the 9 years I have been living here. He has provided great service and great pricing along the way. Super personable and friendly. I am have two more trees removed by Sfreddo Tree (plug) and I will be calling Chris as soon as they are done… I can’t say this enough… he is highly recommended!

Chris was very courteous in his communication with me, but his work and price were what I found the most outstanding. I thought I'd be left with a huge pile of wood chips, but he basically rototilled the entire area making it virtually ready for replanting a new tree right away. He thoroughly probed the area after the grinding to make sure he got everything and pulled out all the big pieces left behind. His price was way below expectations. He charged me for three stumps (in one general area) less than what I thought it would cost for one stump. He also made sure to protect my house from flying debris. He seems to run a legit business as well. I kind of expected him to tell me to write the check out to him personally, but he didn't. He wanted it written out to the full name of the busines

I called Chris up and he was polite and courteous, said he could come by for a free quote within the next few days. Within 48 hours, he was there. He asked about what was needed and was thorough and striaghtforwarded. Asked about utility lines (always a good sign). He quoted it right there and even offered to take care of it right away if that suited me (and had the funds of course). It did, and a few hours later the work was done. I watched with a few glances from inside and noticed how thorough he was in making sure no "smaller straglers" as I'd call them were taken care of near and around the main stumps. He made sure nothing was damaged by blocking off certain areas that faced my house/neighbors. Price was fair too! What more could you ask for? Def recommend this guy! -Justin F. (Wi
