City Center Parking (Broadway Parking Garage)

Do not park here overnight, a few cars got broken into, they smashed our rental car window. So much for Portland,never visiting this city again.

I fear for my life every time I park in this garage. The lanes are narrow, it's basically one way. This is especially true in the turns. People mob around down the garage with little regard. The paving is uneven and I wouldn't want to be in this garage during an earthquake. Using the elevator is an experience, you open and close the folding metal doors manually, it doesn't feel comfortable like a typical elevator. The only bright spots are the location and the staff. It's super convenient for the tower or any of the businesses in the area. The staff are always really friendly and I've never had a sideways looks from a single one. They do a really great job. Enter at your own risk 😉

We parked here at 10am on a Saturday in July 2022. We could not access the upper level parking. We parked in a outside space. Very tight spot. My wife was skeptical about the location. She would NEVER come to this area alone. There were many homeless lying on the sidewalks. Many tents nearly blocking sidewalks.

Not a bad lot. Despite the tight drive ramps, the individual spots are fairly wide which I like to avoid door dings. The on-site staff are diligent to in maintaining security of the lot. The only bad thing about the lot is that the garage is used for valet parking of a nearby hotel. The valet parkers speed through the garage and often times you turn a tight corner and they nearly collide with you.

The parking is cramped and awful. I doubt the building is up to code, and there is no certificate or license for the elevator showing that it has been approved for use.
