Customer Reviews
City of Eugene Parking Services has an extortion racket going on. They harass and target people for parking their vehicles on the street in front of their house. This is my situation. Ove the year I have lived here, I received two warnings for 'storage on street' violations, one warning for parking in the wrong direction, which okay, and a fine for parking on the street. They say they were responding to a complaint. So what, a neighbor can just call and say "someone is parked on the street where I like to park" and you guys come out and issue a citation???? Seriously?? I have made multiple phone calls and you can only leave a message. I have personally gone down to the office downtown to resolve a ticket, and a woman from your office said "this is clearly wrong I will get it corrected and
You’d have better luck giving yourself a haircut with your eyes clothed then finding the ticket appeal form. Clearly they want to make it a waste of your time (which it is) to fight your ticket. Instead they should just put the meters back that take coins or car. And get rid of the idiots who try to count how long your car has been in one spot. Adair, whoever you are, have you ever heard of moving your car and then coming back to the same spot?
Cool. On the hottest day of the year, and with some very distracting and sorrowful news in my head, I parked in the Pearl Street lot by the art supply. I am new to Eugene, and so I was struggling to figure out how to pay for parking. I went into the store to ask about how, and when I came back out, 5 minutes later, I had a ticket. Guy must have been watching me. No grace period? Really? You lot should be ashamed of yourselves.
I parked for breakfast in Eugene and paid for parking, put the parking receipt on my dash and came back to a ticket that was written with 17 minutes left on my receipt. Called Eugene parking services and spoke with a rude employee that told me I had to go to court to contest. Told me there was no one I could speak to. I had to make a court appearance to dispute. So now I have to take time off work to dispute a ticket that never should have been written. And then to get an attitude from a city employee is ridiculous. These people work for us and to be snarky to the people calling in for help, is unacceptable.
Unoccupied epark vehicle at Walmart W. 11th. Parked in the pickup only space. How can parking services expect us to follow the rules? If parking services won't follow the rules.
