Civic Center Garage

If I could rate zero stars I would. I parked here in a pinch and didn’t mind paying the rate for an event downtown. However, their business practice is unethical. We were in one spot for 40 minutes (4th fl) and despite a lot of cars leaving at that time, something didn’t add up, as to why we were at a complete stand still for an unreasonable amount of time. I left the vehicle and walked down the stairwell to the Washington Street exit/gate to find out what the issue was, as this is the gate we entered through to park. The attendant was flirting with patrons, collecting tickets and slowly process them. However, I noticed that there were only 5 cars in line and there was a break in the line with no obvious cars behind the 5th. How could that be when cars were bumper to bumper solid on

I’ll say it like the rest, DO NOT PARK HERE. I would give 0 stars if I could. Absolute scam. Almost 50 dollars for a little over 2 hours of parking. Place is a dump to boot, one exit being broken led to a line forming and being stuck in the garage for over half an hour. Whoever owns this place should be arrested, disgraceful.

DO NOT PARK IN THIS GARAGE. They charge an hourly rate. They say $11/hr then charge you on the way out so when you’re stuck in traffic getting out after an event that’s just more time adding onto the cost. I parked here for a concert and I’m not even 100% sure the total cost was accurate. I arrived at around 7pm and got out around 11:30pm (About 4 1/2 hrs). Doing the math it shouldn’t cost more than $50 which is ridiculous to begin with but was then swindled for $62. COMPLETE HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Id give this dump zero stars if I could

I wouldnt even give a star This parking garage is absolute highway robbery. $62 for an event. Not to mention, a 45 minute wait to exit the garage. The city of Providence should be ashamed! The parking was more than a concert ticket, put that into perspective!

ZERO STARS, DON’T PARK HERE!! Misleading advertising!! Parked at the Civic Center Garage for an afternoon show at Trinity Rep theater. The signs out front said a max of $30 for 4+ hours, but when we went to leave, the total was $66 for the five hours we stayed. We called the attendant and he said that the info on the sign was not up to date. We then asked to speak to the manager (he was on the phone) who was extremely rude. DON’T PARK HERE!!
