CKG Contractors Inc. New Roofs-Roof Repairs.

Absolutely horrible experience. Part of my project included a sub doing flooring, in which they completely botched (see pictures). Did not level the new subfloor, used different sizes on the quarter round, bad transitions and caulking, and nails in the floor. The INSTRUCTIONS on the laminate box say “do not nail”. I reached out to ckg multiple times during the process and was ignored when I requested someone come out to take a look. Finally after I showed them pictures of how the sub used a nail gun on the laminate flooring they came out….but waited until all the flooring was laid. Ckg then tried to convince me the floor was ok as is. They then brought out a different sub to try to convince me the work was ok. Finally, they agreed to have the second sub redo the work. CKG replaced my roof, skylights, and B-vent within one day. It was a truly worry free process for me. I'm very happy with how the Charcoal color turned out for the roof. The skylight replacement also went very well. There were only some minor stress cracks in the drywall after the skylight replacement (expected), which I was able to repair within the following week. They took care of moving anything that needed to be moved, and everything was 90% in its original location when they were done. They also had two people scour around the property for any remaining trash at the end. Everything was left in very good condition. We had our roof, skylight, and a few other things done around the house, like painting and fixing the siding. Everything was completed just as promised. Roof was done in 1 day! They were recommended by my neighbor, and we are really glad we went with them. Great team — we are very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely call them again for future projects. In our case they did a lot of small things in addition to the roof.

The CKG Team was great. They were very professional. We had our roof repaired, new gutters, chimney cap and gutter guards. The work was done extremely well and timely. The owner, Chris Ewan, stopped by, got up on the roof as well to inspect his team’s work. Without any hesitation, I would recommend working with the CKG team.

CKG did a great job replacing my 28-year old roof and gutters. Mark was very professional and helpful, ranging from providing replacement options, to cost estimate, and to timely follow-up during installations. The respective crews for the roof and gutters were hard working and exhibited fine workmanship. They left the grounds clean and free from debris when done. I will definitely go back to CKG for my future home improvement needs.
