Clarendon Street Garage

The parking garage at 100 Clarendon Street in Boston is an absolute mess and one of the most confusing, poorly designed garages I’ve ever encountered. From the moment you enter, it feels like a maze engineered to frustrate drivers rather than serve them. There are multiple entrances and exits with little to no clear guidance, creating immediate confusion about where you’re supposed to go. Signage is inconsistent, poorly placed, or outright misleading. To make matters worse, the first two floors are reserved, forcing all other drivers to park much higher up—something you only discover after entering and circling unnecessarily. DO NOT PARK HERE!!! You can get a much better deal almost anywhere else. I was there for a Sunday brunch and paid $50 dollars at the end of the day. Wasted money!! Simply ridiculous for a Sunday. There’s a $20 dollars all day garage down the street. Search! Or find street parking. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THEIR $12 dollar parking sign! Made to confuse you. It’s worth the search on a Sunday for that kind of price. I will never park there again!!

It is well lit, was not as cold 🥶 as the outside temperature and secure. Valet parking 🅿️ only so bring $ for a tip! I discovered this parking 🅿️ garage through the Spot Hero app. My QR code was accepted at the drive thru kiosk. Unless you were staying at the hotel, there is only one door that is both the exit and the entrance. The first prominent building you will see is 200 Clarendon Street. I use that as my reference point to help, 🎵 Help! I need somebody! Help! Not just anybody! 🎵 Oops 😬! Sorry 😐. me find the door again. The staff were very friendly. The only issue I had was that a plastic barrier was placed at the vehicle drop off area. I knew I could not get by it without bumping it. The attendant kept motioning me forward and saying it was okay. I tried to get by but I bumped it. I

Went here and the sign said $20 for the weekend but was charged 40. Also the ticket dispenser was not working upon entry, so they manually lifted the gate. They mentioned nothing about needing the ticket when leaving. When we were ready to leave, the attendant asked for the ticket and we said we did not receive one except from the valet. He proceeded to be rude and say "everyone gets one, it's impossible". He even walked us down to the machine that did not work previously and we again explained our situation. After all of this he said "okay, lost ticket, $3". Unfair we had to pay the 3 dollars, but the 10 minutes of being rude was completely unnecessary. He also took a picture of the receipt without explaining why, and did not answer any questions directed at him. He just stayed silent.

As parking garages go, this seemed to be a nice one. We rented a studio room and parked here for 5 days. Easy in and out. Plenty of space. I tried reserving space online but that didn't work. I'm glad it didn't matter. We arrived about 10pm Wednesday and there was plenty of space. I would park here again.
