Cleghorn Oil has been delivering to me for 8 years now - I always get it delivered within the promised time frame whenever I order ahead. Today, I ran out of oil overnight and they naturally weren't sure if they'd make it to me for same day service - seeing that a bunch of us unprepared folks that don't have automatic delivery and neglect to faithfully check our levels had run out as well. I therefore understood if they couldn't make it - I'd just be baking all night long to keep our house warm!🤭 Well, Cleghorn Oil managed to squeeze me into their busy Winter schedule and came right on time. The technician was professional, courteous and didn't sound inconvenienced at all! I am beyond grateful. I think it's pretty lousy for a company to charge $150 to have someone come out to measure how much oil left in the tank if you are selling your house seems extremely unfair

We've been with Cleghorn for 25 years. Their customer service is amazing, and they've always had great prices, including budget and prepaid plans. Very responsive to issues that might come up as well. Highly recommend.

I called on a Saturday (1/21/2024) because my furnace was creating black smoke to the point that it was setting off my fire alarms. Within 10 minutes a tech called me back. (Ryan or Bryan) and basically he told me that he was in Rhode Island and that it would take him 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to me and there was a fee of $300 because I don't have the Deluxe plan. I mentioned that I was willing to pay, the fee and any other associated fees because of the severity of the situation. He couldn't stress enough that he was really far and that someone else could come tomorrow (Sunday) for the same fee, and that I should be ok until then. When i bought my house Cleghorn's sticker was on my filler neck. so glad i chose them for my provider. Nothing but excellent service. when i needed them for service to my boiler they were there within 6 hours. No extra fee either. Knowledgeable technician walked me through what was wrong and how he fixed it. Never have come close to running out of oil. There automatic delivery scheduling is a God send. Plus they provide environmentally friendly choices at a competitive price. If they keep this up i will be with them forever.
